On Good Friday, together with 3 other Nigerian Pastors of Thessaloniki our beloved brother Johnson Otamare’s body was placed in the ground.  His soul had passed into to glory on Monday morning, the 14th of April.  He and his wife, Favour, have been faithful members of our Thessaloniki Anagenesis Church since 2008.  Many times preaching, sometimes praying, other times administering communion, but always smiling and sharing an encouraging word.  He was the pastor of the Faith Apostolic Church in Thessaloniki for 6 years before joining our church family, but he was always loved by the Thessaloniki family of Christ (especially among the ten some Nigerian churches).  He was just 56 years old and had suffered a heart condition for almost 16 years.  Pray for his wife, Favour, and may the grieving be healing.

road trip with latinosOn Good Wednesday (or Great as they say here), the Grand Road Trip of the Balkans with the Latinos ended after 2,400 kilometers, 5 countries, and 10 meetings.   The Lord is stirring up the Latino believers of the world to spread spiritual life to all the countries of the world.  They have an ambition goal of sending 100 ministers to each of 200 different countries in the world from a network of 2,000 Latino churches.  Imagine 20,000 ministers connecting with nationals in over 200 nations with the backing of 100,000 intercessors simultaneously worshiping and interceding in October of 2015, certainly a spiritual impact will start that could shake the earth.

DSC_0057DSC_0052Pascha Easter Sunday was awesome.  We had lots of guests. Everyone contributed.  A YWAM team from South African blessed us with the skit “Everything”.  It is always a tear jerk especially on Resurrection Sunday.  The Reach team with Alekos really rocked with worship.  Maria organized a great meal.  She made the lamb and cheerfully passed it around.  Todd grilled the some 40 kilos of meat. Everyone helped set up and clear up.  It was a beautiful and very joyful day.  May we all know and experience “the power of his resurrection” like Ap. Paul in Ph 3:10!!!DSC_0055
