Jesus’ last words to his followers were instructions to share the good news to all creation, and to make ‘disciples’ -followers- of Him.  Do we keep this commission at the forefront of our lives? Our second missions conference, “Missions In Action” will challenge the  church to take seriously Jesus’ words and consider steps of action.  Our first conference-wide missions conference was held in 2008, and many good things have happened since then.  The Northern Mexico conference sent out its first short-term missionary, and is sending out another soon.  Teams continue to go out on short term mission trips, and a Children’s foster care home, Tabitha’s House,  has been functioning successfully for three years.  Much more remains to be done, both within Mexico and beyond its borders.  This conference takes place next weekend, November 30-December 2 at Rancho Betania.  Please pray for:

  • God to provide resources and make it possible for every church to have members present at the conference
  • Our speakers, Josh and Suzy Fajardo, FM missionaries in Madrid, Spain, Pastor Benjamin Castro, from Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, Pastor Thaddeus Roller from Tampa, FL and Pastor Allison Coventry, from Seattle, WA
  • That God will touch believers’ hearts through this conference and raise up more workers (pastors, church planters, missionaries, lay leaders)  for the harvest
  • Our leaders as they explore ways to send and fund workers into the harvest
